SIMMONS- At her residence on Monday August 16, 2004. Ruby M. Simmons (nee Blackman) of Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock and formerly of Embro in her 89th year. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Archie Simmons. Dear mother of Marie Hiuser and her husband Carl, William (Bill) and his wife Sharon all of Embro, Joyce Bracewell of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Keith (Chrystal), Darrell (Teresa), Scott, Brenda and her friend Tim, and Dale. Loved great grandmother of Erika and Jared. Ruby had farmed with her husband in the Embro area for over 57 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday after 10:00 am where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. James Evans officiating. Interment Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
