Ruby Estelle (Irwin) Riach

RIACH- Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday February 13, 2011. Ruby E. Riach (nee Irwin) of R.R.# 8 Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles R. Riach (2006). Loved mother of Marianne of Woodstock, Doug (Cecilia) of Toronto, Richard (Laurie) of Sudbury, Graham and Chris (Kyla) of Woodstock. She was a very proud grandma of Stefanie, Sara and Natasha Riach, Brett (Nadine) Ferris, Kathryn, John, Jacob and Joshua Riach. Cherished great grandma of Natalie Stoffa-Ferris. Fondly remembered by her former son-in-law Terry Ferris. Dear sister of Mayme (Charles) Wilkins of Amberley. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Ruby was predeceased by her parents William and Stella Irwin (nee Hudson), and by her brothers Calvin and Lloyd Irwin. Ruby was a lifelong member of Oxford Centre United Church, the Oxford Centre UCW, and the Bond's Farm Womens Club. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Tuesday 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Barb Dawson officiating.
