DAVIES, Roy - At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Tuesday November 20, 2012. T. Roy Davies of Woodstock in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen "Kathy" A. (nee Marr) Davies for over 45 years years. Dear brother of Peter Davies (Janet) of Wales and brother-in-law to David Marr (Marie) of Virginia. Loved uncle to Robert Marr (Jean) of Monroe, NY, Robert Davies of Wales, Kristal Horton of Virginia, Helen Davies of Wales, survived by several great nieces and nephews and will be missed by his furry friends Domino and Patches. Predeceased by his sister Betty and by his parents William and Bethan (nee Evans) Davies. Roy was a member of King Solomon's Masonic Lodge, # 43, A.F. & A.M., Woodstock, was Past Master of King Solomon's Lodge, Woodstock, #43, Past Master of Ashlar Lodge Tillsonburg, # 701, Past District Deputy Grand Master (2000 - 2001) of Wilson South District, a member of the Mocha Temple Shriner's and clown unit. Friends will be received by the family for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday November 23, 2012 from 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jane Van Patter officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch, Ontario. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society , Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
