BROOKS, Roy - At his home on Friday October 26, 2012. Roy Allan Brooks of Mt. Elgin in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Riette Louise (nee Krause) Brooks for over 38 years. Dear father of Andre Brooks of South Africa, Tracy Brooks (Perry Cannon) of Woodstock and Pamela Wideman (Eric) of Wellesley. Loved Oupa of Maxine, Joshua, Julian, Max, Gavin, Nathalie and one on the way. Dear son-in-law of Esme Krause of Mississauga, brother to Eddie Brooks (Annelie), Cathy Strydom (Hennie) and Norma Wilbee all of South Africa and brother-in-law to Bernice McFarlane (Eddie) of South Africa, Stella Kennedy of New Jersey, Karl Krause (Yukako) of BC and Kurt Krause of Ingersoll. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Lorraine Salta. Roy was a longtime employee of Timberjack, Woodstock. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday October 30, 2012 from 6 - 8 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
