Roy George Archer

ARCHER, Roy - At his home on Friday January 6, 2012. Roy George Archer of Woodstock in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Lampman) Archer (2003). Forever in the hearts of his son Don and his wife Joan. Cherished grandfather and inspiration to his two grandsons David (wife Michelle) of Alberta and Bradley of Woodstock. Roys friends at the Baker's Dozen coffee shop will miss his good natured smile. He is survived by his dear sister Marie (late Pete) Allen of London. Predeceased by his brother Robert (Marjorie) Archer. Roy was a proud member of the Woodstock Home Builder's Association, Parkinson Support Group and a long time member of Beachville United Church. Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of remembrance at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday January 10, 2012 from 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Van Patter officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memoiral contributions to the Parkinson Soicety would be appreciated.
