Ross Edwin Hargreaves

HARGREAVES, Roston "Ross" Edwin - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday August 10, 2015 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Coyla May Hargreaves (nee Cody). Loving father of Rosalyn Hansford, Coyla Jean Reeves and her husband Carl, Dwight Hargreaves and his wife Nancy and Ted Hargreaves and his wife Sue. Cherished grandfather of Andy (Deana), Jenny, Barb (Mark); Cathy, Mark, Dwayne; Rachel (Rob), T-J (Greg); Kristina (Simon), Ellen; Rob (Christina), Ryan (Trish) and Meagan and great grandfather of 19. Dear brother of Albert Hargreaves and his wife Joan. Special friend of Donna Kittmer. Ross is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Jack (Laurene) Hargreaves, two infant sisters and by his sister-in-law Jean (Jack) Griffin. Ross was a WWII Veteran, a former Grand Master of the Mercer Wilson Masonic Lodge, Dairy farmed in South West Oxford for many years, as well as being a Pastor for over 20 years with the United Church of Canada. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday August 16, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday August 17, 2015 at 11am. Interment at Harris Street Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
