THOMSON, Rosie - At her residence on Saturday February 14, 2015. Rosie (nee Hanchiruk) Thomson of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of RR# 2, Embro in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Russel A. Thomson for over 67 years. Loved daughter of the late William and Sophie Hanchiruk (nee Helko) of Princeton. Dear mother to Linda (Vartan) and Karen. Loved grandmother to Antronig and Nuvere. Dear sister of Stella Greenfield and sister-in-law to Ellen Thomson and Ruth Gibbs. She will always be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her grandson Matthew (1991) by her sisters Mary (Mike) Moleroff, Olga (James) Tottle and by her brother John (Florence) Hanchiruk and brothers-in-law Hilton Thomson, Tom Myerscough, Ralph (Dora) Thomson and Allen Greenfield,. Rosie was a past member of the Zorra Rebekah Lodge, the Brooksdale United Church Women and a life member of the Brooksdale Women's Institute. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday February 18, 2015 from 3 - 7 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday February 19 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ludwing of Caressant Care officiating. Interment later in the North Embro Cemetery.
