FRASER, Ron G. - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday April 4, 2021 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Elaina Rose Taylor (2020) for over 22 years. Dear father of Savannah Fraser, Darcie (Geoff) Lee, Aaron (Aoife) Fraser, Blair Fraser, Emily Iorio and the late Michael Iorio (2019). Cherished grandfather of Jared, Madeline, Eoghan and Maeve. Loving brother to Marie Weaver, Anne (Robert) Berge and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by his sister Betty Edgeworth and by his brother William Fraser. Ron was very active in the many functions and organizations in Woodstock and surrounding area. He served with the Woodstock Police Service for over 34 years. Beginning as an officer and retiring when he was Chief of Police. Ron was a Rotary member serving as President for several years and sat for 2 terms as a City Councilor for the City of Woodstock. A celebration of life will be held later and will be announced. A private family service will be held Thursday April 8th, 2021, with cremation to follow.. Ron will be joined again with Elaina at Fairview Mausoleum in Niagara Falls.
