MARKHAM - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday December 24, 2003. Ronald "Ron" Sterling Markham of Willowgrove Cres., Woodstock in his 78th year. Beloved husband of E. Jean Markham (nee Reinwald) for over 56 years. Dear father of Lois Baynton and husband Ray of Wingham and Paul and his wife Carolyn of Innerkip. Loved grandfather of Craig (Laura), Jill, Jaime, Karen, Jennifer, Tyler and great grandfather of Justin and Eric. Dear brother of Joan Hammond and husband George of Ingersoll and brother-in-law of Helen Markham of Woodstock. Predeceased by his brother Grant (2001). Ron had been a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock and had been employed by Union Gas for over 26 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00am with Rev.
