HORNER, Ronald Daniel

July 25, 1939 – February 3, 2024

Passed away peacefully at the Von Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario in his 85th year. Son of the late James and Ida (Comrie) Horner. He will be sadly missed by the woman who loved him for 35 years, his wife Sue Horner. He was loved and respected by his children, Kathy Horner Lessel (Philip), Ken Horner (Elisa), Wendy Horner Riolo (Dominic), Nancy Horner (Vince Ieluzzi), Jim Horner (Cheryl Myles) and Andria Jones-Bitton. Ron was a grandfather to 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Ron is survived by his brother Gord (Joan) and sister Linda, predeceased by Jimmy, Dianne, Bruce and Doug. Ron will forever live in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. Ron lived a beautiful life; he was truly blessed. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Von Sakura House in Woodstock where they kept him comfortable and where he made a lasting impression on the Nurses, he had his sense of humor all throughout. Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 11am, Cornerstone Baptist Church, 34 Graham St. Woodstock.
