Ronald Anderson Hogg

Peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Friday September 16, 2011, with his children at his side. Ronald Anderson Hogg, of Thamesford, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Nita Greenly (1998). Dear father of Nanette Bourgon of Cambridge, Larry and Nasrin of London, Karen and Russ Pound of Waterloo, and Jane of Kitchener. Also survived by 9 grandchildren: Trina, Marcie, Danielle, Sylvia, and their mother Deb; Marc, Kate and Paul, Andrea "Annie", and Sabrina. Dear grandfather to Iman and Roya. Also sadly missed by 6 great-grandchildren: Ashten, Emilee, Colin, Dominic, Mylah and Laila. Brother of Jean (Joe) Chamings of Thamesford. Pre-deceased by two brothers Douglas and George, and two sisters, Doris Grieve and Norma Baars. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford, on Monday, from 2 - 4, and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Westminster United Church, Thamesford,( one block north of Dundas at Delatre and George Streets) Tuesday, September 20, at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Mark Marshall officiating. Internment Zion 7th Line Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to the Alexandra Hospital Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thanks to Dr. L. Bruce, Dr. J. Crosby, Dr. A Arif, and the staff at both Alexandra and Tillsonburg Hospitals. A Masonic Memorial Service under the auspices of King Solmon Lodge # 394, Thamesford, will be held at the funeral home Monday at 6:30 PM
