BUITENDYK, Ronald Norman - Suddenly in Woodstock, Ontario on Thursday December 8th, 2011. Ron Buitendyk of Woodstock, succumbed to cancer in his 59th year. Loving partner and best friend of Chris Elliott, of Ingersoll. Beloved father of Dave Creighton and his wife Lisa of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Crystal Richardson and her husband Todd, of Woodstock. ‘Grandpa Ron' delighted and will be missed by grandsons Elliot and Jack. Dear Brother of Wally Buitendyk and his wife Lena of Woodstock, and uncle to Marie, Katie and Laura. Ron worked at Federal White Cement for 28 years, and when he was not working he could be found on his motorcycle or on the boat on Lake Erie. Cremation has taken place. A public Celebration of Life will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday December 17th 2011 from 1 to 4 pm.
