MacLEOD - Peacefully at his residence on Sunday August 8, 2004. Roddie "Rod" A. MacLeod of Willowgrove Cres., Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Evelyn M. MacLeod (nee Fitzpatrick). Dear father of Dennis and his wife Stasia of Cambridge and Jill Ferguson and her husband David of Woodstock. Loved papa of Sean and Samantha MacLeod and Rod Ferguson. Dear brother of Margaret MacPhee, Sarah Matheson, Marion Sodro, Agnes MacLeod, and Lillian MacLean all of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his sister Mabel Salisbury and brothers Alex, Kenneth and James MacLeod. Rod served two years with the R.A.C.F. during WWII and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55, Woodstock, Past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Cambridge, a member of the Knights of Columbus Woodstock and retired as a supervisor with C.P. Rail. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 2:30 -4:30 & 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 10:00 am with Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm.
