Robert "Mike" Michael Elliott

Robert Michael Elliott, known affectionately as Mike to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024, at Woodstock Hospital. Born on March 21, 1962, in Montreal, Quebec, Mike's life was one of dedication, joy, and the love of a close-knit family.  Mike's journey began as the cherished son of the late Robert and Gloria Elliott and the brother of Stephen, who predeceased him. His life was a testament to the value of family, a theme that carried through to his own role as a father to his beloved daughters, Megan and Michele. The light of his life shone even brighter with the arrival of his grandchild, Hunter, and his devoted dog, Lucky, who was a constant source of companionship and joy. He is survived by his close friend and former wife, Sally Elliott, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Professionally, Mike's commitment and work ethic were evident to all who knew him. He spent three decades with Canadian Tire, where he started as a manager and rose through the ranks to become an esteemed associate dealer. His leadership and dedication left a lasting impact on the company and his colleagues. Mike's passions extended beyond his work. He was an avid golfer, finding solace and excitement on the greens. His love for the game was only matched by the camaraderie he shared with fellow golfers and the peaceful moments he cherished in nature. Mike's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchild, and many cousins. His memory will be carried in the hearts of those who knew him, a beacon of the joy and warmth he brought into the world. As we bid farewell to Mike, we celebrate a generous soul that had an impact on everyone he met and a spirit that will forever remain in our hearts.
