Predeceased by his parents, Klaas and Anne Veenstra (nee Houten) 1980, 2003)). Loving father of Grace (Derek) Thain and Clarence (Anne) Veenstra. Dear brother of Jack (Jean) Veenstra, Ina Walker, Jim (Janet) Veenstra, Kathy (Bev) Campbell, and brother-in-law of Corrie Pool, Gloria Veenstra, Mike and Jean Veenstra. Predeceased by his sister Grace and her husband Jack Spyker and his sister Lucy and her husband Joe Uyenaka, brother Sid Veenstra, and brother-in-laws Jack Pool, Albert Hartwell, and great-granddaughter Kassandra. Dear Grandpa to Len (Joy) Oosterhof, Chad Oosterhof, David (Britany) Oosterhof, Rachel (Roger) Mabee, Curtis and Nathan Veenstra, and step- grandpa to Chris (Angela) Thain and Michael Thain. Loved great grandfather “Pake” of ten and step great-grandpa “Pake” of four. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit with the family at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac St, Woodstock on Thursday December 10th 2020 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a Funeral Service taking place in the sanctuary at 11:30 am with Pastor John Wildeboer officiating. Due to Covid-19 regulations, all guests must RSVP through funeral home website to attend visitation and service. A private interment will take place at Oxford Memorial Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004).
