Robert "Bob" Lavern Bowden

Bowden, Robert “Bob” Lavern - It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Laverne Bowden, in London, Ontario on January 17th, 2020 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for 58 years of Doreen Joyce Bowden and cherished father of Lavern, Paul (d.2008), Linda (Hewitt), Barb (Dean), Audrey (Robert). Loved by grandchildren Brad (Brittany), Shantell (Les), Tammy (Brian), Tabatha (Donny), Tiffany (Randy), Taylor (Olivia), Ryan (Presley), Trevor (Kelsey), Cole, Daniel and Jamie; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Doreen would like to thank McGarrell Place Long Term Care for providing Bob with a loving home and nurturing care.

Bob is survived by three of his thirteen siblings: Terry, Brenda, Sharon and his Port Albert family. A loyal employee of O-Pee-Chee Company for 43 years, he had the best garden in Mount Brydges and raised horses and rabbits. Bob loved playing hockey, fishing, dancing, snowmobiling, beating everyone at pool and cheating at Crazy Eights.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Eastern Star Temple, 800 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
