Roberta Ena Young (Mahood) Jackson

JACKSON, Roberta Ena - Died peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Roberta Ena (nee Mahood) of Woodstock in her 80th year. Loved and cherished mother of Michael, Sharon (Dave) and Sean (Alica). Grandma to Toni-Lee (Steve), Ian, Daryl, Ryan, Brandon and Dylan. Great Grandma to Randy. Sister to Ann, Carol, Hazel, Pat and Clifford. Ena was a retired employee of Towers and Zellers and was an involved member of Dundas St. United Church, Woodstock. Ena and family would like to thank all the nurses at Woodstock General Hospital and Caressant Care Nursing Home for all their support. A special thank you to her friends Hugh and Irene Adair for their generous friendship over the years. Ena was met by her late husband Geoffrey, granddaughter Alanah and sister Peggy. She will be greatly missed by everyone. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Dundas St. United Church, 285 Dundas St., Woodstock, (519-537-7935) on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2pm.
