SIMS, Robert Elvy "Bob"- Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29th, 2018 at the Woodstock Hospital, in his 91st year. Survived by his adored wife of 70 years, Marie (nee Toeppner). Cherished Father of Barry (Donna) Sims, Bonnie (Mike) Martino, and Nancy McCabe. Dear Grandfather of Marni (Will) Pascoe, Rob (Nancy) Sims, Michael, Stephen (Kyla), Jeff (Santana), and David Martino, Nicholas and Thomas McCabe, and Avery (Lee) Ormston. Proud Great-Grandfather of Owyn, Keanan, Ashton, Emerson, Wesley, Aiden, and Holden. Predeceased by his siblings, George, Walt, Marg, Bill, Dorothy, and Gord. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bob was an O.P.P. Officer for over 35 years and was a proud member of the Shriners Clown Unit. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 from 10 to 11 am with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 am.
