Robert Pelton

PELTON - At his residence on Monday June 9, 2003. Robert "Bob" G. Pelton of Bonnie Brae, Tavistock and formerly of Woodstock and Embro in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Pelton nee Learn-Hulet) and of the late Lila Ross Pelton (nee Birtch) 1965. Dear father of William R. Pelton and his wife Mary of Winnipeg, James Pelton and his wife Rikki of Woodstock, Nanci Whittaker and her husband Wade of Kintore, Rosemary Demarte and her husband John of Cambridge, Cheryl Jacobs and her husband Bruce of Stratford, Charles Hulet and his friend Deb of Ingersoll, William Hulet of Guelph and Michael Hulet and his wife Tracey of Woodstock. Beloved grandfather of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Norman Pelton of Edmonton and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Grant and Harry and by his sister Dorothy. Bob was an active member of the Dundas St., United Church, Woodstock, a past member of the Knox United Church Embro, had farmed in the Embro area for many years then moving to Woodstock acting as Store Manager then Branch Manager of the United Co-operatives of Ontario for over 15 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00am with Rev. Kirby Constable officiating. Interment in the North Embro Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated
