PALMER - At his residence on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Robert "Bob" A. Palmer of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Goff Towers in his 69th year. Beloved son of the late Stanley and Margaret (nee Dougherty) Palmer. Dear brother of Wayne and his wife Pitsy of Toronto, Diane Palmer of Stratford and brother-in-law of Klazina "Chris" Palmer of Woodstock. Predeceased by his brother Ed Palmer (Oct. 10, 2007). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was employed with the RCMP as a supply clerk and then at the Oxford County Courthouse. He was a past parishioner of Old St. Paul's Anglican Church and currently Oxford Baptist Church. Bob's memory of the past was phenomenal and impressed everyone who knew him. His ability to reflect on the past translated in his love for trains and music with such artists as Enrico Caruso and Glenn Miller. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday, October 19, 2007 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev.
