Robert James Mutch

MUTCH - Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday August 5th , 2003. Robert J. Mutch of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Mutch (Elsey)(2002). Dear mother of Wayne and his wife Kay of Dorland Subdivision, David and his wife Janet of Woodstock, James and his companion Brenda Freeman of Kitchener, and Patricia and her companion Tom Gamble of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of 6 grand children and 6 great grand children. Sadly missed by his sisters Audrey Schlit and her friend Maurice of Kitchener, Katherine Eckstein and her husband Donald of Tavistock, and by his brother Donald and his wife Dorothy of Tavistock. Predeceased by his brother Frederick and sister Jean Gregory. Robert served over seas with the 4th Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. and was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55, Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Thursday from 7-9pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am with Reverend Keith Sutherland officiating. Cremation. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
