Robert "Bob" Morden

MORDEN- At Caressant Care Nursing Home on Monday November 13, 2006, Robert "Bob" Morden of Woodstock in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Win Morden (nee Maffey). Loved father of Philip of Woodstock, Gwen Robinson (Doug) of Cambridge, and Andrew of Woodstock. Dear grandfather of Stuart, Stephen, Caleb, Marshall, Julia, and Broady. Bob is also survived by his brothers William (Marilyn) of California, Ernest of Sudbury, sister Shirley Anderson (Ross) of Woodstock, brother Harvey (Carol) of Trenton, sister-in-law Norma Morden of London, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Jim, George, and sister Nora Beck and her husband Ron. Bob was a proud member of the R.C.A.F. and the United Empire Loyalists. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Wednesday November 15, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 pm at Huron Park Baptist Church 199 Berwick St., Woodstock with Pastor Phil Cole and Dr. John McDonald officiating. Interment in the Baptist cemetery. Contributions to Partners International or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
