Robert "Glenn" Middleton

MIDDLETON - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday February 14, 2005. Robert "Glenn" Middleton of Hickson in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Lois Jean Middleton (nee Dixon) for over 53 years. Dear father of Brian and his wife Shirley of Hickson, Don and his wife Mary Ann of Woodstock, Karen Schwartzentruber and her husband Keith of Shakespeare and Brenda Bonis and her husband Rob of Lindsay. Loved grandfather of Darryl, Amanda, Melissa, Jason, Jeremy (Mandy), Jeff, Josh, Joey, Jordan, Kelly (John), Kim (Erik), Jeff (Leah), Greg, Kyle, Angela and step grandfather of Scott (Ashley) and Eric. Dear brother of Evelyn Wood of Burlington and Ivan and his wife Bernice of Stratford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Dorothy (1996). Glenn taught in the Woodstock and area for over 37 years, drove school bus for over 15 years with Scott Bus Lines, was a longtime member of the Hickson United Church, Southgate Centre and the Woodstock and Tavistock Horticultural Society. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Ann Estill officiating. Interment in the McTavish Cemetery at a later date. Contributions to the Southgate Centre, Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
