Robert George Kempster

KEMPSTER Robert George - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on August 26th, 2018 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Kempster (2011). Loving father of Jim (Wendy) Kempster, Linda (Carl) Webster and Nancy (Len) Bucholtz. Cherished grandfather of Laura (Dan Bishop) Webster, Nathan (Karen) Webster, Bethany Kempster, Lindsey Kempster and great-granddaughter Genevieve. Robert will also be missed by his sister Helen McCallum and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son-in-law Len Bucholtz (1995) and sister Dorothy Utley (2018). Robert was employed at Firestone Textiles for over 43 years. He owned and loved horses for most of his life and loved to relate many stories of his experiences with them. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Thursday August 30th, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00am, where the service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am.
