HILL- Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at LHSC -University campus on Thursday August 19, 2010. Robert S. Hill of Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy R. Hill (nee Sherwin). Dear father of Kevin (Michelle) Hill of Stratford, Sherree (Rod) Stuber of London and Cameron Hill of Mississauga. Loved grandfather of Rhiannon, Carly, Jeremy and Ashley. Dear brother-in-law of Fred (Joan) Sherwin of Ottawa, Audrey Sparks of St. Catharines and Douglas (Lenore) Sherwin of St. Louis, Missouri. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law George Sparks. Robert was an avid model railroader and belonged to both the London Garden Railroad Club and the Doubleheaders Railroad Club in Kitchener. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at the Woodstock Salvation Army Community Church, 769 Juliana Drive on Wednesday August 25th 2010, at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. If desired, contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation or the Woodstock Salvation Army Community Church would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004).
