Robert John "Zip" Henderson

HENDERSON, Robert John "Zip"- Passed away suddenly while doing what he loved best, working on the family farm in his 63rd year. Loving husband to Connie. Brother and brother-in-law to Jim and Donna, Ruth, Ron, Keith and Janice, Susan and Earl. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Ken and Michelle, JoAnn, Cheryl and John, Cathy, Mike and Becci, Karen, Kevin and Katie, Kyle and Samantha, Sarah and Kyle, his great nieces and nephews as well as his parents-in-law Robert and Nona Kerr. Predeceased by his parents Myron and Helen Henderson and his sister-in-law Donna. Bob grew up on a family farm near Kintore. He loved hockey and baseball, racing his snowmobiles and his '69 Acadian. His favourite past time was coaching the Thamesford Trojan Hockey Club. He was a member of the Thamesford Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years. After owning several gas stations in the area, Bob returned to farming, his true passion. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Monday, October 26th, 2015 between the hours of 2 and 9pm at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, ON. (519-285-2427). The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 11:00am in the Thamesford Arena.
