Robert "Bob" Ross Harmer

HARMER, Robert "Bob" R. - Surrounded by his loving family at his home on Saturday February 20, 2016 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn I. (nee Winegarden) Harmer for over 71 years. Dear father of Bruce (Beth) Harmer, Dianne (Dave) Aitchison, Barry (Libby) Harmer, Sue (Diane Hari) Yeoman and Paul (Wendy) Harmer. Loved grandfather of nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Olive (John) Neilson and brother-in-law to; Lois Turner, Everett Winegarden, Shirley Clarke, George (Inez) Winegarden and Betty (Willis) Heaslip. Predeceased by his brother Ted Harmer. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman. Some of his favourite hunting trips were to South Carolina hunting with his buddy "Coon". A Celebration of Life for Bob will take place on Saturday April 2, 2016 from 2-4 pm the at Brock & Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004). Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Parkhill Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society Research Fund or Sakura House, Woodstock would be appreciated.
