HALLS, Robert Kent Clark, passed away peacefully at Sakura House, surrounded by family on Tuesday December 5, 2017 in his 95th year. He left behind his soulmate of 72 years Wilhelmina (Morlog) Halls. Loving father of Kerry (Sheila) Halls and Karen (Drew) Reid. Cherish grandfather of Marci, Matthew, Bryan, Crystal and Tasha. Loving great grandfather to Gage and Lennon. Predeceased by his parents Muriel and Clifford Halls, and his brother James Halls and his Sister-In-law Dorothy. He will be remembered by his nephews Micheal, James, John and Robby and his niece Kim. Born July 9, 1923 in West Lorne and enlisted in the army at the young age of 18. He served as a Private in the Signal Corp and it was his job to cut communications behind enemy lines. During this time he met his young bride and they married in England in 1945. He then brought her to Canada as his British Souvenir where they created 72 years of memories. He was a long time employee of Standard Tube as a Millwright and then enjoyed retirement for 34 years. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday December 8, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. where the funeral service will follow in the chapel. Interment will be attended by family at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the London Humane Society or Sakura House in Woodstock would be appreciated.
