FOSTER - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Robert (Bob) Anthony Foster of Woodstock in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Alana (nee Barker) Foster. Dear father of Becky Foster and her husband Joseph Gabriel of Toronto, Jim Howe and his wife Nicki and Debbie Aicken and her partner Pete all of Woodstock. Loved papa of Sharayah and Joey Foster-Gabriel, Kelsey and Emma Howe, Mathew and Andrew Sackrider and Melissa Aicken. Dear brother of George Foster and his wife Catherine, Mary Mangolt and her late husband Joe, Genieveve Chapeskie all of Woodstock and Joe Foster and his wife Bea of Grand Bend. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and by his brother John Foster. Bob was employed with LaFarge Canada (Canada Cement) for over 32 years and was an outdoor enthusiast who loved his fishing trips. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 3:30 pm with Rev. David Snihur officiating assisted by Rev. Glen Macpherson. Interment later in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the V.O.N. Sakura House would be appreciated.
