Robert Edward Joseph "Bob" Anderson

ANDERSON- April 20, 1953-September 29, 2006, Robert Edward Anderson of Edmonton, Alberta returned home to the arms of family for his final days. Bob became ill while visiting family and passed away after a brief battle with cancer at Woodstock General Hospital in his 54th year. Survived by his loving wife Cheryl (nee Ewanovich) of Edmonton, Alberta, daughter Jennifer of Toronto, ON, his mother Marie Anderson, Stepfather Charles Murphy of Woodstock, ON, Mother In-Law Jean Ewanovich of Edmonton, Alberta, brother Joey of Vancouver, BC, sisters Nancy Bright of Stratford, ON, Shirley Bright (Darcy) of Kamloops, BC, Lucie Thompson (Don) of Woodstock, ON, brother-in-law Allan Ewanovich of Edmonton, AB. Bob is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his father Thomas Anderson and father-in-law William Ewanovich. Friends will be received at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 pm where a memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm with Father Andrew Kowalczyk CSMA officiating. Bob's ashes will be returned to Alberta where a second memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
