DYKSTRA- Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday January 1, 2008, Bauke "Robert" Dykstra of Woodstock in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Hiske "Helen" Dykstra (nee Van der Meer). Loved father of John Dykstra and his wife Maureen of Woodstock. Dear grandfather of Andrew (Jennifer), Mary (Ali), Jeannie (Patrick), Sharon (Jason), Thomas (Jody), and three great grandchildren. Robert is predeceased by his son Andrew Dykstra, two brothers, and one sister. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday January 3, 2008 from 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment later in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
