Robert "Bob" Arthur Douglas

DOUGLAS, Robert "Bob" Arthur - Passed away at the Stratford Hospital on Monday April 3, 2017 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Ruth Douglas (nee Duncanson) for over 54 years. Loving father of David (Lynn) Douglas, Gavin (Nadja) Douglas, and Andrea (Peter Grant) Douglas. Cherished grandfather of Nathalie, Jacqueline, Sydney, Jaiden, Tobin and Nova. Predeceased by his sister Jane Platt. Bob was a high school teacher in Oxford County for almost 50 years, an elder at Knox Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and an active member of Probus in the community. Bob also had a wide range of interests in music, the outdoors, and especially skiing, curling, tennis and golf. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday April 7, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. The memorial service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church, 59 Riddell Street on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 12:00 pm with the Reverend Mark McLennan officiating.
