DAVIDSON- Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, June 22, 2007. Robert Charles Percy Davidson of Cardinal Drive Woodstock in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Lylia D. Davidson (nee Ellison) for 55 years. Dear father of Marlene Davidson, Sharon Leach, Pauline Baskett and her husband Steve, Don Davidson and his wife Laura and Jane Killiam all of Woodstock, Donna Wilson and her husband David of St. Marys, Darlene Crosby and her husband Kevin of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of Madison and Alannah Davidson; Kristine and Devin Crosby; Jonathan Smith, Brittany and Shawn Baskett; Colton Leach; Taylor Wilson; Jeff, Kari and Jimmy Killiam. Dear brother of Charolyne Smith of Hamilton and brother in law of Lois Davidson of Woodstock and Jim Ellison and his wife Cathy of Port Rowan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William Norman Davidson and Mary Jane Rebecca (nee Cain) and brothers Bill, Norman, Clayt and by sisters Patricia, Norma and Laura. Robert served both in WW II and in Korea and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch#55 Woodstock. A private family service to be held at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519)539-0004, Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Following cremation interment to take place in the Glen Williams Cemetery.
