Robert Wayne "Bobbie" Chapman

CHAPMAN, Robert "Bobbie" W. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bobbie" Chapman at his home on Thursday May 31, 2018 in his 72nd year. Born in Chapman Settlement, Nova Scotia on March 21, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles and Emily Mae (Beamish) Chapman. Beloved father of Julie Mosier, Tammy Chapman, Jennifer (Shane Johnson) Chapman and Shane Chapman. Awesome grandfather of Stephanie, Becca, Robert, Bailey, Kayden, Kate and Will. Dear brother to Linda (late Donald), Carol (late Allen), Judy (Ralph), Marjorie (Frank) and Shirley (Eldon). Predeceased by his parents, brother Kenny and sister Barbara (Keith). Bobbie was the salt of the earth. Always there to lend a hand. He was a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan and always believed that next year would be the year they won the cup! He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching horse racing and was an amazing cook. A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held in the coming weeks, following which he will be brought home to Nova Scotia.
