BOWMAN- At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday August 19, 2007. Robert W. Bowman Woodstock in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy G. Bowman (nee Hewer) and the late Helen M. Bowman (nee Ruttledge). Dear father of Keri Axon and her husband Bob of Woodstock and Kathie Cooney and her husband Dan of B.C. Loved grandfather of Rob Axon (Tara), Steve Axon (Amanda), Jenny Cooney (Peter) and Scott Catherwood. Cherished great grandfather of Austin, Avery, Annabel, Benjamin and Oliver. Dear brother of Jim Bowman and his wife Pat of Woodstock. Also survived by special cousin Lorne Bowman. Predeceased by his granddaughter Michelle. Robert was a naval veteran of WW II, was a charter member and past president of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday August 21, 2007 from 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 am.
