Robert Duncan "Bob" Blair

BLAIR, Robert "Bob" Duncan - Passed away with his loving family by his side at Sakura House, Woodstock on Friday December 29, 2017 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Jane "Jean" C. (nee Matheson) Blair for nearly 67 years. Dear father to Glen and his wife June Odlum-Blair, Bruce and his wife Kelly and Jane Blair and her husband Dean Selwyn. Loved grandfather of Nicole, Mitchell (Jessica), Melissa, Matthew (Lindsey), Ryan (Casey), Michael (Sara), Evan, Jessie, Jackie and great grandfather to Dominic, Jillian and Ryan. Dear brother of Madeleine Kirkby, Margaret Smith and loving brother-in-law of Donna (Cecil) Rowe and is survived by his many nieces and nephews. Bob was a longtime member of Knox United Church. He was a former Mayor of Zorra Township and County Councillor, Past President of the Caledonian Society and past member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Predeceased by his sister Lois Harley and by his brothers; Willis, John, James and Donald. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday January 1, 2018 from 2 - 5pm. A funeral service in remembrance of Bob will take place at Knox United Church, Embro on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Andrea Allen officiating.
