RIKA VANDER TIL (SCHRIK - KLINGENBERG)

Called home to her Lord on July 22 at the age of 91, wife of the late John Vander Til (2019) and Ben Schrik (1985); daughter of Gerrit and Christina Klingenberg; loving mother of Christine (Albert) Faber, Ben (Marian) Schrik, Ann (Leo) Miedema and stepmother to the seven Vander Til children; dear Oma and great Oma to many beloved children.

Survived by sisters Fenny (John) Zwygers and Jane Damsma; and brother Harry and sisters-in-law Trientje and Alie. Predeceased by brothers Berend, Mans, Gezinus, Jan, Jan Harm and Gerrit; sisters Grietje Koopman and Christine Noordstra, Special thanks to Seasons Strathroy staff for their wonderful care and to the palliative care staff at Strathroy hospital for their expertise and comfort. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a service on Monday July 26th at 2pm at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock, ON.  (Due to COVID, space is limited, and guests are required to RSVP in advance on the funeral home website). The service will also be live streamed on the Maranatha Church website at www.maranathacrcwoodstock.com. If desired, memorial contributions to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged through the Brock Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue in Woodstock (519-539-0004).
