Rickie Ernest Evans
June 1, 1947 — July 24, 2023
Rickie E. Evans, affectionately known as Rick, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023, at Woodstock Hospital. Born in Chatham, Ontario, on June 1, 1947, Rick will be remembered for his humor, love, and generosity.
He is survived by his children; Cherie Edwards, Terry Evans, and Stacey Evans, his son-in-law Brad, his daughters-in-law Lianne, and Melanie respectively, and grandchildren, Spencer (Dallas), Lauren, Caylin, and Emma. His late wife, Donna Evans, predeceased him in 2009. Rick also leaves behind his treasured brother-in-law, Bill Dixon and lifelong friend, Lynn Boyce.
Known for his infectious laughter and unending kindness, Rick lived a full life centered around his loved ones. He is fondly remembered as a pillar of support and joy in their lives. His welcoming spirit and love for life will forever be etched in their hearts. Rick's memory will continue to inspire and comfort the lives he touched, leaving a powerful legacy of love and laughter behind. If desired, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
