ZEHR, Richard “Rich” L. - Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at Sakura House, Woodstock on Friday May 31, 2019 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Margaret F. (Nee Gillespie) Zehr for over 49 years. Cherished father of Jessica Kooger and her husband Mike. Loving grandfather of Kali and Kip. Dear son of Janet and the late Lorne Zehr. Loved brother to Diane (Richard) Roth, Craig (Sue) Zehr, Paul Zehr, Janice (Paul) Vink, Steven (Jessica) Zehr and brother-in-law to Heather Zehr Cuffey, Ronald (Mike) Gillespie, Connie (Fred) Taylor, Lorna (Bill) Burkart and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Brian Zehr. Richard was employed with J.M. Schneider Meats in Kitchener for over 40 years and was an avid golfer. Some would say he retired to play golf. He worked at Innerkip Highlands Golf Club as a starter for several years. A private service was held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004. Cremation has taken place.
