Richard Andrew Poole

POOLE, Richard Andrew- Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday December 30, 2016 after being diagnosed in September with Lewy Body Parkinson at age 76. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Eleanor (Sisson ) Poole. Loving father of D'Arcy (Manda), Stephanie, Scott (Jin Young), and Jeff (Catherine). He will be missed by his grandchildren, Ethan, Katelyn, Emily, Hannah, Sarah, Jackson, Kennedy, and Kailey. Richard is predeceased by his parents Jack and Mary Poole, his daughter Mary Catharine Poole and grandson Bradley, his sister Patricia Young (John) and his brothers Peter (Dorothy), Phillip (Jaqueline), brother-in-law Bill and sister-in-law Betty. Richard leaves behind his sister Barbara Smith, brother John and his youngest sister Catharine. Richard will be missed by his large extended Sisson family and his great friends from Haliburton, Woodstock and Winnipeg along with his many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invite to join the family at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Thursday January 5, 2017 where a memorial Mass will be held at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of ones choice are appreciated and can be made through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock (519-539-0004).
