MUIR - At Woodingford Lodge on Thursday July 1, 2004. Reverend Alexander Charles Grant Muir of Canterbury St., Woodstock in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jean Brown Muir (nee Cunningham). Dear father of Margaret Dunn and her husband Philip of Manitoba, Donald Muir and his wife Irene of Markham, Elizabeth "Libby" Harmer and her husband Barry and Peter Muir and his wife Eileen all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Georgina, Anna, Lucy and Jacqueline Stewart and her fiancé Steven Murphy. Rev. Grant was the Pastoral Minister at Essa Road Presbyterian Church Barrie, Stroud Presbyterian Church, St. James Presbyterian Church Toronto, MacKay Presbyterian Church Timmins, Knox Presbyterian Church Embro and Knox Presbyterian Church Harrington. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held from the chapel on Monday at 1:30pm with Rev. David Ketchen officiating. Interment in the McNeill Cemetery, Priceville.
