CAMPBELL, Rev. William - At his home surrounded by the love of his family on Friday March 13, 2015 in his 81st year. William Campbell was born in Hamilton, Ontario on September 14, 1934, the son of John and Edith Campbell. He was a minister of the gospel, called and ordained by the Church's King and Head, Jesus Christ, through the Presbytery of Hamilton, Presbyterian Church in Canada. He was later involved in seeing the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church established in Canada. He considered it a great joy and privilege to preach the unsearchable riches of the Lord Jesus Christ. He married Maureen Jean Dawson in 1956 and she predeceased him in January of 2000. He will be sadly missed by his children Keith and Gloria Campbell, Joan and Jeff Kingswood, Nancy and Jack Whytock, Stanley and Beth Campbell, David Campbell and Thanh (Karina) Campbell and his only sibling Mary O'Brien and her husband Alex and their children. Loved grandfather of Michael, Jennifer, Joshua, Rebecca, Esther, John, Mary, Abraham, Philip, Ian, Alistair, Andrew, Janet, Isaiah, Mason, Aaron, Matthew, Joshua, Rachel and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 50 Finkle St., Woodstock on Tuesday March 17, 2015 where the complete funeral service will be held at 2pm. Interment later in the Kirkwall Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Haddington House Trust would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
