CHRISTIAN, Reta Jean- Peacefully passed at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Thursday April 26th 2012. Reta Jean Christian (nee Ritchie) formerly of Dover Street in her 89th year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Glenn Howard Christian (2007). Loved mother of Rick and his wife Nancy and Barbara Dutchburn. Dear grandma of Becky Christian, Heather-Ann (Don) Guest, Cheryl Christian, Doug Dutchburn and Richard Christian. Cherished great-grandma of Dustin, Cassidy, Devin, Mackenzie, Joseph and Hailey. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son-in-law Fred Dutchburn and by siblings, Lillian McMenemy, Bill Ritchie, Andy Ritchie, Dorothy Hughes, James Ritchie, Margie Tyler, Larry Ritchie, Helen Ezeard, Betty Reeve, Marion Lindsay and Marie McCallum. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 1st 2012 after 11:30 am where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday at 12:30pm with Rev. Bonnie Pilkey of Dundas Street United Church officiating. Cremation to follow, with interment later at Hillview Cemetery.
