Reginald "Reg" Allen Roberts

Reg passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on June 19, 2024, in his 74th year at the Woodstock Hospital.

Loving husband and best friend of Kathy (nee Boersma) for nearly 55 years. Very proud father of Shelly and Andre Burke, Kevin and Cassy Roberts. Cherished and doting Poppa to Sydney Roberts and Brett, Dillon Burke, Alana and Logan Roberts. Will be sadly missed by his siblings Stan Roberts, Don and Betty Roberts, Dave and Dorothy Roberts, Robert and Margaret Kruse, Lynn and Nancy Roberts, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his Aunt Vi, Aunt Rena, and Uncle Jim, cousins and his many friends.  Fondly remembered by extended family members in Friesland, Holland, Morrisburg and Cornwall.

Predeceased by his parents William and Ethel Roberts, his in-laws and brother-in-law Paul.

Reg was the former owner of Can-Tario Brick & Stone along with his brother Stan for many years, and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the business world.

He loved the outdoors, boating, snowmobiling, the many walking trails in Woodstock, the family trips to Florida, road trips taken together, the Blue Jays, the Maple Leafs and a die hard Nascar fan, and most of all the quality time spent with his grandchildren, he will be forever missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Woodstock Hospital Palliative Care and Care Partners of Woodstock are appreciated.

A private family burial will take place. All are invited to a Celebration of Reg’s Life on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 3 to 6 pm held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock (519-539-0004)

The family would like to thank Dr. Labruzzo for his early morning visits and Dr. Fryer, and the Palliative Care Team of Doctors and Nursing Staff for their exceptional care given. And a very special thank you to Rob Pritchard for his visits and unwavering dedication to Reg’s care.
