NASH - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Reg at his residence on Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Reginald "Reg" Nash of Woodstock in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Lorna e. (nee Hird) Nash for over 46 years. Dear brother of Doreen Parker and her late husband Carl of Thornhill. Loved uncle of Carol Beeforth (Douglas) and their family Michael, Mackenzie and Harrison; Cathy MacDonald (Evan) and their family Thomas, Kate and Dylan; Michael Parker (Lynn) and will be remembered by his special niece Monica Hird. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Bertha Nash who Reg had worked with for many years at the family business of "Nash's Lunch" then becoming "Nash's Variety". Reg was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church, Woodstock and was a member of the First Baptist Church Choir for over 50 years. Reg will be sadly missed by his many friends within the church and throughout this community. Reg was an avid photographer seen around town with his camera in hand and enjoyed feeding "his children" the ducks at Southside Park and looked forward to a friendly game of tennis every now and then. One of Reg's hobbies was collecting flags from around the world and would share his hobby with all who were interested by raising his flags in his backyard or displaying them at area functions.
