BAILEY, Reginald (Reg) James - peacefully at the Woodstock General hospital surrounded by his family on Tuesday June 22, 2010 at the age of 79. Loving husband of 54 years to Arlene (nee Penny). Loving father of Michele Fulkerson and husband Don of Woodstock, Shane Bailey and friend Shelley Finlay of Ingersoll, Marla Boakes and husband Kevin of Curries, Melissa Brolese and husband Denis of Woodstock. Loving grandfather of Jared and Zach Fulkerson, Christopher Bailey and wife Brandie, Kimberly Bailey (Simon Hargin), Bethany Bailey (Tom Saulnier), Aaron and Ethan Boakes, Mitchel and Brock Brolese. Loving great grandfather of Alli Bailey. Loving brother of Marjorie Simser of Woodstock and brother-in-law of Durelle and Rene Decooman of Norwich, Sandra and John Rutherford of Burgessville, Brent and Julie Penny of Norwich and uncle of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Lenora Bailey. Reg was employed at King Truck Engineering for 39 years retiring in 1989. He was a past member of the Oxford Fish and Game Club and the Woodstock Radio Control Model Airplane Club. He was a long time vendor at the Woodstock Farmers Market operating the family business : Bailey's Cheese. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Friday June 25, 2010 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter St., Woodstock on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment in the Norwich Gore Cemetery.
