Raymond "Ray" Zevalds
March 24, 1935 — February 15, 2014
ZEVALDS, Ray - At Sakura House, Woodstock on Saturday February 15, 2014. Raimond "Ray" Zevalds of Woodstock in his 79th year. Beloved companion of Rita Gillingwater of Woodstock and proud friend of Scott Gillingwater (Teresa Piraino), Michele Gillingwater and Kira Gillingwater. He will be sadly missed by his best friends; Casey, Bill (Mini), Mark and Matthew Scheltema. Dear brother to Vilija Kanalec and uncle to Ed Kanalec, Susan Trevisanello (Claudio) and great uncle to Steven, Justin, Joseph and Christopher. Ray will always be remembered for his work at Mobile Energy Inc., his BMW and his love for dogs. A funeral service to honour Ray's life will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 at 1:00pm, with Rev. Tanya Ramer officiating. Interment will be held in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
