ROBERTS, Raymond F. - On Sunday January 4, 2015. Raymond Frederick Roberts at Caressant Care, Woodstock in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Pauline Roberts (nee Graham) for almost 50 years. Father of Paul Roberts and his wife Mary and Valerie Raper and her husband Derrick. Dear Grandfather of Lindsay (Niall) Monaghan, Sarah (Jeff) Wright, Colin, Zachary and Megan Raper. Great grandfather of Nolan and Eva Monaghan and Sophie and Isabelle Wright. Ray is survived by his sister-in-law Marie (late Harold) Graham and by his brother-in-law Wilf (late Norma) Blakely. Predeceased by his son Raymond Roberts (1984), parents; Sidney and Florence Roberts and sister Dorothy Schertzberg-Mercer and his brothers Kenneth Roberts, Bob Roberts, Dave Roberts and Fred Roberts. Ray was a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 55, Woodstock for many years. He was also a co-founding member of the Woodstock Ski Club. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday January 8, 2015 from 1-2 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm.
