TAYLOR, Raymond E. "Ray" - Peacefully, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, at the Stratford General Hospital, on Monday August 27th 2012. Ray Taylor of Tavistock and formerly of Woodstock was in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen "Kay" Taylor (nee Miller). Dear father of Paul of Mississauga, Joan (Frank) Dishman of St. Marys, Louise (Barry) Ens of Waterdown and Elaine Gyimesi of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Kristy, Tyler (Tal) and Andrew (Catherine); Stephanie (Craig) and David; Adam (Andrea) and Laura and great grandfather of Isaac and Claire. Dear brother of Sherman (Mary) Taylor, Mary Mattson and brother-in-law of Eloise Wright. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son-in-law John Gyimesi (2007), brothers-in-law John Mattson, Rev. B. Gordon Wright and sisters-in-law Helen (Jim) Lewis and Frances (Allan) Cooper. Ray taught for the Elgin Area Bible Club and was in fellowship with the Tavistock Bible Chapel. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday August 29th 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday August 30th 2012 at 11:00 am.
