GIBBONS - At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Sunday August 6, 2006. Ray L. Gibbons of Chieftain St., Woodstock in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Ruth "Rudy" M. Gibbons (nee Ullrich). Dear father of Susan Dietrich (Nicholas) of Toronto, Michael (Marjie), Joanne Lucas (William) and Stephen (Julie) all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Jeremy and Leah Dietrich and Jenny Gibbons all of Toronto, Emily Nadalin ((Ron), Christine Gibbons, Jonathan Lucas (Bonnie), Janice Lucas and Matthew Gibbons (Lindsay) all of Woodstock, and Benjamin Gibbons (Melissa Anderson) of London and great grandfather of Alexandra and Brooke Lucas. Predeceased by his four sisters. Ray was a member of the Port Dover Yacht Club for 25 years, the South Gate Seniors Centre and St. David's United Church. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday 7-9 pm where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Furry officiating.
